METRO: Long Beach–East LA Corridor Mobility Investment Plan (CMIP) Meeting

Metro is continuing community engagement for the Long Beach–East LA Corridor Mobility Investment
Plan (CMIP)—a major effort to improve air quality, safety, and mobility along the LB-ELA Corridor.

We invite you to join us at upcoming meetings!

Metro will host a Zero-Emission Truck (ZET) Community Meeting with two ways to participate: in
person on Monday, August 25 at Compton College from 6–7:30pm, or virtually on Tuesday, September
9 from 12-1:30pm. The meeting will cover proposed clean truck projects and plans for new public
charging stations.

The LB-ELA Public Meeting #1 will take place on Thursday, August 28 virtually from 6 – 7:30pm.
Attendees will hear updates on the plan and learn about Metro’s new Community Working Group
(CWG).

Spanish interpretation will be available at both meetings. We encourage you to attend, stay involved,
and help shape the future of transportation in your community.

Metro continúa con la participación comunitaria para el Plan de Inversión del Corredor Long Beach–-East LA (CMIP), un esfuerzo importante para mejorar la calidad del aire, la seguridad y la movilidad a lo largo del corredor LB-ELA.

Metro organizará una Reunión Comunitaria sobre Camiones de Cero Emisiones (ZET en inglés) con dos formas de participación: en persona el lunes 25 de agosto en Compton College de 6–7:30pm o de manera virtual el martes 9 de septiembre de 12-1:30pm. La reunión describirá los proyectos propuestos de camiones limpios y los planes para nuevas estaciones públicas de carga.

La Reunión Pública #1 del LB-ELA se llevará a cabo el jueves 28 de agosto de manera virtual de 6 – 7:30pm. Los asistentes recibirán actualizaciones sobre el plan y conocerán el nuevo Grupo de Trabajo Comunitario (CWG en inglés) de Metro.

Interpretación en español sera disponible en ambas reuniones. Lo invitamos cordialmente a asistir mantenerse involucrado y ayudar a dar forma al futuro del transporte en su comunidad.
