The Antonio Moran Scholarship

Antonio Moran was an optimistic, fun-loving, motivated, young man from East Los Angeles. He had a love for life and for learning. This love led him to East Los Angeles College where he took courses for three semesters. He was an active member of the Disabled Students Center and had dreams of graduating college and having a family of his own one day. Antonio had a strong commitment to civic duty, he volunteered two days a week at Salazar Park in East Los Angeles to keep the park clean and ready for the community.

This scholarship has been created in his memory to find individuals that share his passion, commitment to their community, and motivation to better themselves through Education.

This year, we are pleased to be able to offer 3, $500 scholarships for students currently enrolled at a local college or university in Los Angeles County. Complete instructions, criteria, and application can be found at the links below.
